Paying from Belgium follows a predictable pattern: money goes in via Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and winnings return through the bank. The rename from Payconiq to Bancontact Pay dates from March 2026.
Bancontact Pay caps at €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. The stake lands without delay; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, with the site's internal handling added to that.
What is asked at registration
Opening an account varies little: real name, date of birth and an identity check before the first withdrawal. An ID and something that evidences your address usually suffice. Make sure account holder and player are the same person.
There is no Dutch or French guarantee, and no Belgian escalation path. Leave the transaction mails in your inbox; they are your only foothold if things go wrong.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion
The rules on player protection here run more firmly than players tend to expect and you notice it at signup. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. A lower limit takes effect directly, raising runs through a verification and then a waiting window.
Self-exclusion in Belgium is handled centrally, through EPIS: one registration excludes you at once from every licensed operator, online and on-site. The entry point is the Gaming Commission. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. A trial account falls under it too.

Player questions
- How do I self-exclude?
You register with EPIS. It works nationally and immediately. The request is free of charge. It is the strongest brake Belgium offers.
- Can I deposit with Bancontact at Amunra?
Depositing with Bancontact works; the money comes back through your bank account. Reckon on a minimum of around €5. There is no route back to Bancontact — that goes via the bank.
- May Amunra operate in Belgium?
No, Amunra does not appear in the Belgian licence register. The list is public on gamingcommission.be. Always verify it yourself before depositing.
- Is the bonus worth it?
Always work the wagering through: 35x on a €50 bonus means €1,750 of turnover before a payout. Declining a bonus is always allowed. Check whether your game counts before you start.
- Are winnings taxed?
No, you pay no tax on winnings; that burden falls on the operator. Ask for advice if large amounts are involved. This applies to every licensed operator.
- From what age may I play?
The minimum age is 21; since 1 September 2024 it is 21 for casino, hall and betting. The check is automatic at licensed sites. This is not a guideline but a statutory limit.
