Who writes here

Rachid Mermans has followed the Belgian gambling market since 2017 and works through every operator himself where licences always comes first. Lives and works in Brussel.

An affiliate fee sits on the outbound links; the text above does not depend on it. The black list is named even when it costs us.

How we test. every test starts with a real account, start with a deposit of our own money, pull the money out and time the whole route. Every operator goes past the Gaming Commission's white and black lists and check what the terms actually say.

Player protection in numbers

The Belgian legislator approaches player protection more firmly than players tend to expect which feeds straight into your play limit. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling.

Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Reversing it is not immediate. Casino, gaming hall and sports betting are 21-and-over since 1 September 2024; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. The check is automatic.
